JETRO promotes Kosher Japan Sake

JETRO promotes Kosher Japan Sake

JETRO is a government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world.
The organization came to the realization that Kosher Supervision on Japanese products would greatly boost the export and sales overseas. They realized this after seeing the great success Dassai Sake met with after obtaining kosher supervision of Rabbi Edery namely Kosher Japan. JETRO flew to the US to see how the Kosher Japan Dassai Sake is sold in stores. They also came to the factory to see firsthand how the supervision is conducted.
This week JETRO’s report, encouraging Japanese companies to get Kosher Supervision aired on TV. To see it in Japanese, please click here.

Kosuke Kuji, the owner said it was a great success and people were especially happy to see that the sake had the Kosher Japan mark. Special thanks to Mr. Josh Cohen for his ongoing support, advice and effort in making more Japanese products kosher under KJ. May Hashem bless him with all the brachot.

The One and Only Kosher Place to eat out in Japan King Falafel

Kosher Japan
This week, David Labi from the Metropolis magazine in Japan, ran an article about the only kosher place to eat out in Japan- King Falafel.
In his unique ”short and sweet” style he encourages people to come by and taste the heavenly Falafel, fresh salads and spreads.

Special thanks to Muto san from Nord House for his constant support and efforts in developing kosher food in Japan.
To Kaori Takeshima aka ”Queen Falafel”, for running the Falafel on a daily basis, with grace and kindness.
To David for a job well done!
