Tokyo: Hundreds Gather Despite The Rain
On Lag Baomer Chabad of Tokyo directed by Rabbi Binyomin Edery organized several parades. The first parade took place on Motzei Shabbos in the area of the Beis Chabad, Sanyo. And on Sunday, despite the torrential rain, close to two hundred men, woman, and children gathered at a local park for lag Baomer festivities. During the ceebration which included a children’s program and barbeque, Harav Edrai took the opportunity to explain the meaning of Lag Baomer in the perspective of Geulah. Besides for the other Lag Baomer festivities which took place in Tokyo, there was a special event for nearly a hundred ‘Bnei Noach’ who enjoyed explanations from Harav Yossi Kleinman on the importance of the ‘Sheva Mitzvos Bnei Noach’, especially in our times, the final moments before the the complete revalation of the Rebbe Melech hamoshiach.
