This past Sunday Chabad of Japan organized a big event for the people affected by the Tsunami in Iwanuma, Sendai. There were many participants, including the mayor and many city officials who came to partake and show appreciation of the never ending support Rabbi Edery has given from the day after the Tsunami.   Chabad of Japan often organizes learning sessions and classes for local high schools and university students interested in Judaism, its philosophy and way of life.
