This Chanuka, Chabad of Japan made non stop activities throughout the eight days of Chanuka. Starting with the Grand Celebration on Sunday, with Olive oil making from scratch and lighting the menorah with the freshly made olive oil. Children’s wood menorah building was enjoyed by all. Followed by Rabbi Edery’s Menorah Mobile daily routes throughout Tokyo and its sorroundings, bringing the light, happiness and mitzvot of Chanuka, including the Embassy of Israel who invited the Rabbi to speak about Chanuka….

Today, Chanuka eve, Chabad of Japan celebrates its Bar Mitzvah Anniversary. From its establishment in 1999, to this day, thirteen years later, Rabbi Edery and the Chabad House crew have been continuously illuminating Japan with acts of goodness and kindness. Countless people have been helped both materially and spiritually. It has been a shining lighthouse, a spiritual compass for everyone. Chanuka Celebration Chabad Japan Thirteenth Anniversary
Sunday, December 9th at 3 pm Chanuka party at Chabad House Special program ”Live Olive Oil Press” Arts and Crafts Dreidel Contest Delicious Chanuka delicacies and treats! Rabbi Edery brought fresh olives from Israel. We will be pressing them for olive oil. Join us for this highly enjoyable and educational activity for children and adults. There will be public menorah lighting every day of Chanuka at 5:00 pm at King Falafel.
