Yom Kippur with Chabad Tokyo - The Holiest Day Of The Year
Yom Kippur is more than a day of forgiveness — it’s a day of oneness, when the deepest essence of the Jewish soul shines without obstruction. On this day, we are uplifted above the physical world and aligned with the very core of Creation.
In Chassidus, Yom Kippur reveals the Yechidah, the innermost point of the soul — the part that is always one with Hashem. It is also a day that echoes the light of the future, the Geulah, when all barriers will fall away and G-dliness will be openly revealed in the world.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, King Moshiach, emphasized that Yom Kippur is a time to focus not on the past, but on the future — the year ahead, the coming Redemption, and the complete return of the Jewish people to their essence and mission.
