Rabbi Edery visits Jewish detainees and prisoners daily, giving them moral support and uplifting their spirits. This week was the trial of one of Jewish boys being detained. The Dayan Weiss from Belgium who took on himself the financial burden of the case and all legal details involved, came for the trial. During this week, he gave a Torah lecture regarding the laws of territories on the Sabbath, and the importance of keeping the stringencies of kosher food laws even in far off places like Japan. There are no words to describe the commitment and self sacrifice of all those involved. May G-d repay them with all the blessings of the Torah.
